Hey guys how's it goin? It's pretty late at night so I don't think this is going to be a real lengthy devotional. I was sitting in a drive-through tonight after church and God told me to write this so I figured that I better write it. I'm an FCA leader at my high school for those of you who don't know, FCA is short for Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Many times in filling out forms in which I have to state specific programs that I have taken part in I say FCA. Until today...that is exactly what I have always considered FCA: a program. But FCA is not a program....it is a tool. And just like FCA, the Christian lifestyle is not a program. It is meant to be all the time...not just some of the time. It is not meant to be turned off and on like a video game. God's plan and salvation of souls cannot be programmed. We have got to live the life of a Christian. Tonight I prayed for 20 minutes with 8 other individuals about the boldness to go and tell others about God.
Tonight...I wanna make a challenge to each and every person who reads this. Tell one person about God everyday. Do it for the sake of their soul. I'm serious people...it's time we quit turning God off and on and acting as if he is just another detail of our human lives. He is THE detail of our life. HE IS LIFE. Don't make God a program. Make him a never ceasing factor that dwells in you and cannot moved or budged. A factor that affects each and every minute detail of your human life. A factor which depicts the manner in which you carry yourself each and every moment of the day. A factor that truly is...a never ending...never declining....always praying...God program.
