Praise His Name

Clap your hands all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. How AWESOME is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth!
Psalms 47:1

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord."
Psalms 150:6

I praise his name forever and ever. I pray that the Lords joy is present in your life and I rejoice in the assurance that you are my brothers and sisters in Christ. Hear is a short message that reflects a small part of God's beauty.

How do you worship? Through song, prayer, fellowship. What is God to you when you worship. To me he is my King. Yes he is also my father, friend, and lover but when I worship. I fall at his feet because I owe him my life. He has pardoned me and saved me; He is my king. Invite the Holy Spirit to come and fill you with he's presence and worship will never be the same.

Have you ever noticed how living things go up and dead things go down? For example, trees grow towards the sky reaching for the heavens, grass gets longer not shorter, and even we are forced to grow up. Yet the dead things in this world are constantly destroying themselves. Fields erode away, water flows down stream, and even the mighty mountains eventually crumble in to the sea. Does any of this make sense yet? Well let me explain.

I think God puts things in our life that are so obvious that we miss the lessons they can teach us so easily. Everything living goes up. In other words even the trees reach for heaven to touch Jesus. Things that are alive, things that are filled with Christ, know how to praise God. When we are spiritually alive we are constantly reaching for heaven. Trying to glorify God in everything we do. Others try to cut us down but we continue to multiply and grow. And just as the human body needs oxygen from trees the soul needs Jesus. You can't live without trees obviously and even more obvious then that is you can't live without the maker of those trees. My King Jesus Christ in your heart.

And on the opposite side of the living is the dead. These things fall to the ground and are destroyed. Just like a person who refuses God's love and grace will fall to the ground and be destroyed. (HELL) The prophet Isaiah tell us that God says "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed." 54: 10 Things in are life often look as beautiful as those mountains but beauty often deceives us. Even the mountain thought never to be shaken will fall. " Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea," Psalms 46: 2 These things are dead and if we too remain to be dead, if we do not start to grow and reach for the heavens to praise our Lord and king we to will fall. To be alive or dead you make the decision! Me, I have chosen to live, to love, to praise and worship my king forever. No regrets!

"Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain."
Psalm 48:1

He is my mountain and he will never crumble into the sea. Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.
Psalm 48:1

So with this I leave you. Run in the rain. Sing in the sunshine. And praise your wonderful maker. For you were wonderfully made. He loves you more than anything you could ever imagine. I have accepted this free gift and because of that I will praise him forever and ever. May the God of Joy and peace be with you as I depart from you with my words but never in my heart.
