Love Never Fails
"For I am Convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor
demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor
depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the
love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:28
My dear sisters and brothers in Christ,
I write to you today with a simple meditation of joy and peace that weighs upon my heart. I have experienced the Holy Spirit in my life and pray that he's ever comforting arms rest upon you. I have found a joy that compares to no other and a peace greater than all my troubles in the Love of my Lord.
His Love is limitless. I have come to a point in my life that now I understand that Love never fails. I have come to understand that out of all the things Jesus offers us, his love is the greatest. I have learned that no other love is love and no other gift is greater.
I have learned that real love never gives up and never dies. I can not tell you I understand his love for it is incomprehensible, but I can tell you that I know Jesus and for that my life will be an ongoing pursuit of trying to obtain his perfect love and by giving it away. For love is not love until one gives it away.
I have come to realize the unimaginable depth of his love. I know that God loves us so much. I know that he would do anything for us no matter what the cost. I know that he offers us everything we could ever desire to have. A joy, a peace, a feeling of self-worth, a father and friend who will never leave our side and yet people do not except his gift. People tell him no every day. That they don't need him, that they don't care about him, and that they are just fine on their own. They do it through their actions, through their choices, or simply by not resting on their knees and saying " Jesus I except this free gift"
As a human, if I was to try and offer that kind of love and someone refused it. If I was willing to do anything for that person no matter what the cost. If I was willing to be their friend and never leave their side hoping to bring them joy, peace, and self-worth and yet they did not except my gift of love. They tell me they don't care about me, they don't need me, and they're just fine on their own. How would I feel? What would I do? My desire in life is to be like Jesus. To allow his love to flow from the spirit that dwells within me. Jesus is rejected like that everyday. He cries for us. "Jesus wept!" As a human that rejection would be almost to much for me to bear but not if I love with the Love of our Lord. For even though he is rejected every day and even though he offers all he has and yet others refuse to accept him he still loves them. And he still loves us.
So Love never does fail. So even though you may feel rejected or someone has refused your gift of love you must know that real love does not stop there. For when the storms of life come your way and all else seems to fall short If through it all your Love remains that is when you know that Love will never fail.
My soul is like a candle that flickers through the night. It shines through the darkness so that I may see the way. And as I walk along with my candle shinning so very bright I pray that its small light will light a few others along the path in which I travel. For one small candle burning can light many more. My candle burns with his love. A love that does not give up, a love that will not end, a love that never fails. When you love someone you will do anything to get to that person. For true love, Gods Love never fails
" If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not LOVE, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps not record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always PERSEVERES. Love never Fails. ( Has someone loved you like that? If they have it is 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Because they Know Jesus loves them and he loves you.)
