Living It Up
I come so that you may have life, and have it to the full.
John 10:10
Hello fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I have a short message for you today due to the enormous amount of homework I have been given by my teachers in these last few weeks of school.
Today I want to ask you to look at the way you view your christian walk and if you consider it boring. I have found that many people view their Christian lives as boring or just something else to add on to our busy schedules. These Christians are usually the Church dwellers!!! These are people who think about God only when there at Church and are satisfied with that. Well sometimes they pray before a meal but that is only polite and routine. God asks for more than that of us and if we truly knew him we would desire more than that as well.
To make our walk exciting we must first learn to trust God. We do thatby telling him what is on our minds. The second thing we must do is listen to God. This means not saying anything for a few minutes, not listening to others advice, but listening to your heart where God presides. The third thing you must do is be obedient to his answer and advice. This means sometimes sacraficing what seems too important to us, or even looks like an impossible solution to us. The last thing needed is to have faith. This goes back to the whole trust thing and your back at the beginning.
To not know what Tomorrow holds is what every human goes through. But to me it is very exciting to know Who Holds It !!!!!! The Christian walk is not boring unless you aren't living it and then you would really be a christian then would you. As my friend Brother Pickle once said " Ain't no Christian a wussy " It takes guts !!! But is sure is exciting but you mustt be willing to go out of you little comfort zone and be obedient.
