"But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord."

1Peter 1:9
The apostle Paul once said " Lord I believe but I pray for that of my unbelief." This simple statement may at first sound redundant to you but I ask you to sit back for a second and ponder this simple but powerful truth.
I am not ashamed to tell you that many times I have doubted that my God would not want to help with certain things in my life that I thought did not concern him. However, I have learned now that everthying in my life must be given to Him. I am a living sacrifice. " In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple. " Luke 14:33 There is no doubt in my mind that there is someone reading this message that is going through finacial problems, but let me tell you this there is also no doubt in my mind that there is somone reading this same message who through God has conquered those same finacial problems. There is also probably somone reading this message going through family ( or relationship ) problems. Again let me tell you this I know that there is someone else reading this message who through God has conquered those same relationship problems that you are facing. There are others still, reading this message going through pysical problems, and I promise you once again that there is someone reading this same message who through God has conquered those same physical problems.
You see you are not alone in the things you face on this earth but you do need to find strength to get through them. " The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my DELIVERER;" (Psalms 18:2) We need to tell God everything. 1 Peter 5:7 Tells us to " Cast all your cares upon him because he cares for you." He is our DELIVERER. The bible tells us to " come boldly to throne of Christ. " That is why we need to become a praying NATION once again. Seeking the truth.
This is not the last step we need to take however. If we become a praying nation we must be a believing people.
" If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and PRAY and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and WILL HEAL THEIR LAND. ( 2 Chronicles 7:14)
We must believe because our God truly loves us and because of that if we truly believe in him he will answer our prays. Whether you are worried about your new girlfriend, an A on your next Algebra test, or running the United States you must give it all to God. " Come bodly to the throne of Christ" and where better to do that then on your knees right now or at an altar of prayer. Where God's people will surround you.
I leave you today with this final thought. Even if you are not sure there is a God ( Your Unbelief ) wouldn't it be nice to have a world full of love again. I challenge those who still feel they do not know God is trully there for them or even exists to find a place alone where no one knows what you are doing and ask God to reveal himself ( this is not a trick either because only you will know when you are doing it ) and began to seek the truth the only way you know how to find it, Through your own heart.
