His Amazing Blessings
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enought for it."
Malachi 3:10
My precious brothers and sisters in Christ,
I write to you today with a joy that I can simply not explain. I am going to try and give you a glimplse but I know my words will fall way short of the way my heart truly feels. It is nothing else but incomprehensible, unbelievable, and unexpressable. It can only be one thing. My Jesus is real and nothing else matters. My Jesus is really real!
God is so awesome, so amazing and so wonderful. My last e-mail I talked about asking for God to come to us. To seek his face and not His blessings. Since than I have been being transformed in a new way. Learning How to truly worship my King. To bow my heart in total sumbission to my maker and lover. If you remember I wrote a devotional a few months ago telling of the last few months in my life and how they had been possibly the hardest time in my life. ( James 1: 1-8 & 12 ) Well now I am glad to say this one of the greatest times of my life. For when the darkest momment comes it means that the morning is just to come. For joy comes in the morning light.
I could sing praises to my king forever. The things I have experienced in the last 3 weeks have been more amazing than anything I could ever do. It is by Gods grace only. For where the face of the Lord is, is His favor. Thats why 1 Chronicles 16:11 ( along with Ps 4: 6 , 27: 8, 31: 6, 105:4, 2 Cor 4:6, Rev 1: 16 etc.) says "seek his face always." Not His blessings but His face and than he promises that the heavens will open up. But first we must learn more about Him so that we have a place for him to stay in our hearts. He is coming from His kingdom we can't invite Him without preparing a throne first. Bowing our hearts is the formula.
I wanted to write all the things God has done around me in the last 3 weeks but I honestly don't have enough time and really can't remmember them all. They have been one right after another. My church experienced Christ in a new way this last sunday as we realized we need to take it back to Him. My best friend talked with one of His friends and they have decided to bring there realationship back to Christ. And say they have never felt him so real before. People have called me out of the blue just to tell me they are on fire and filled with his spirit. Teachers and bosses of mine have contacted me and told me the way Christ is working in their life and the need they have for them. My youth group room this last Wendsday was overcrowed with kids who just decided to show up. Kids we have been praying for for a long time. However when we started asking for God instead of them He brought them. My parents who have had been in a horrible relationship for sometime are not actually getting along and loving eachother again. A soul came to Christ sunday at church. I have a new friend that has encouraged me every step of the way. My personal devotions have not only been answers to what is on my heart but to even those who have come to me to talk.
There are many more things I could tell you and if your interested call me I don't care. For God will recieve all the Glory and Praise. We can only learn to truly Praise after we have learned to really worship. I don't believe just certain things out of my bible. It is either all true or none of it. So when it says "seek me first" and everything else will follow I believe it.
So allow your heart to be changed once again. What has God been showing you. He will destroy your enemies " make them a footstool, etc" He will clear a path for you. ( Jer. 29: 11) and he will prepare you a future home with eternal peace and joy. All we need to do is praise His wonderful name. Seeking His face. I am tired of just getting chills from Jesus passing by I want to touch his robe. Stop Him where I am and praise His wonderful name.
